Opening Hours
- 7.30 am – 6.00 pm Monday to Friday, excluding and bank holidays.
- We offer full time and part-time sessions – full days or AM or PM sessions.
Minimum Booking Policy
The minimum number of sessions your child can be booked into the Chapel House Day Nursery is two sessions per week (one session equals either a AM or PM session).
Please note The minimum booking policy is not applicable to grant funded sessions.
Settling in Sessions
At Chapel HouseDay Nursery, we believe that children flourish when their personal, social and emotional needs are met. With this in mind, we offer Settling in Sessions for your child before they start their nursery adventure. It’s extremely important that your child feels safe and secure in their nursery environment before they start permanent sessions.
What to expect from Settling in Sessions
- We will start to build relationships with you and your child
- You will meet our team and your child’s Key Person
- We will start to find out your child’s likes and dislikes, home routine and any specific requirements such as nap times, meal preferences and comforters
The main aim of these sessions is to ensure that you and your child feel completely comfortable in our nursery in West Norwood before you start permanent sessions with us.
Our Nursery and Registration Fees
- Our nursery year runs from Sept 1st to Aug 31st.
- We are closed for 1 week at Christmas and for all Bank Holidays.
- Our fees are calculated from actual booked attendance and are calculated by taking your child’s weekly attendance fee x 52 (there are 52 chargeable weeks per year), and by dividing by 12 to give your monthly payment.
- Fees are payable monthly in advance, on the first day of each month.
- Fees are payable by Direct Debit or voucher.
- We offer free settling in sessions (if you’d like them).
To book a place we require a £75.00 non-refundable registration fee for a new family (Please note this fee is not applicable for fully funded sessions).
Our Siblings Discount
We offer a 5% discount off your oldest child’s fee when a younger sibling starts with us.
Chapel House Day Nursery’s OFSTED Report
- Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) registered our nursery in 2012.
- Ofsted regulate our sector and inspect us regularly.
- Ofsted inspect all childcare settings to ensure that they support children through the EYFS curriculum.
- After the inspection of a setting, nurseries receive a full report of the inspector’s findings.
- Ofsted inspects us regularly, view our latest Ofsted report.
